Summary:
This area of South West Cornwall is rugged, rocky and beautiful. The course weaves its way along a gnarly coastline, occasionally interrupted by a secluded white sand cove that typify the Cornwall landscape. On top of this and the usual coastal drama, this location treats you to a good helping of both mines and mysticism. The first half of the course weaves between the iconic chimney stacks that remain as deserted monuments to the once thriving cornish tin mining industry. Along the second half of the course ancient stone circles and lay lines abound making this course as magical as it is monstrous! The terrain is difficult, rocky and on the inland sections can be very boggy in places. The course is considered by many to be the most challenging course. One for the intrepid trail runner!
